Serena Williams born in 1981 is from Saginaw, MI. She started playing Tennis at the age of 4 and turned pro in 1995. Serena runs her own line of designer apparel and accessories. She created a foundation and has organized or participated in various charity events. Serena retired at the US Open 2022.

ABOUT
THE ORIGINAL ART PIECE "HAWK- EYE REPLAY- SERENA" #2 The title: in tournaments which still have line judges, the players can challenge the judge calls. The Hawk-Eye system then replays a video on a stadium screen to show the bounce mark. This painting represents Serena disappointed with the replay.
The series: To keep the artwork special and highly collectible, I create only 10 of each design, all in different colours. Each piece is a unique Original Artwork. Substrate: "AluPanel" or "Dibond". A very strong recyclable material that will last for generations to come. A polyethylene core covered with a thin aluminium sheet on each side. Medium: Very high quality Acrylic paint followed by an isolation layer then a UV protector and Archival varnish. The finished piece: The painted portrait on the hand cut Alupanel is tightly fitted inside a used and refurbished adult size Tennis racquet. See below for the two types of framing to choose from. |
